The New Yorker Dollhouse Kit is a replica of the Tenement Style buildings that first began appearing in New York in the 1850s. Many immigrants first settled in these buildings after coming to America. These buildings evolved as a result of landlords making efforts to maximize their rents by increasing the density of their properties. Today, many have been renovated for more modern uses.
This dollhouse kit comes pre-bricked on 3 sides, painted ("Used Brick" Red) and includes unpainted trims, 2 staircases with railings, windows and a door.
